1955 | The monks from Don Bosco gave mr. Minguel the opportunity to get familiar with track & field when he was thirteen years old. Before track & field he played soccer and baseball. |

1959 | Mr. Minguel started to specialize, and practice shot put, javelin throw, and discus throw when he turned 17 years. |
1962-1972 | Reactivates “Nederlands Antilliaans Atletiek Unie” and is boardmember. |
1964 | Founding member of “the Olympics” a track and field club in Curaçao. |
1966 – 1970 | Reactivates the Track and Field Federation in Curaçao and is boardmember. |
1967 | Set up the first technical commission for track and field in Curaçao. |
1970 – 1972 | And he competed in the Central American & Caribbean Championship. |
